*updates,updates,updates*

This past week/weekend were a busy one for us! Scott has been hard at work on our basement, repainting it this pretty green and redoing the flooring (we had to replace the carpet after the water leak a few months back) and it is just about done! He just has to finish putting up the baseboards and put the furniture back in and it will be done :) The hardwood looks so much better than the carpet did. And this summer he is planning to do the upstairs living room and hall hardwood also. He is so handy, i think ill keep him :) Then his next projects are redoing the fireplace downstairs and re carpeting the rooms. With all this on top of school 2 mornings a week, 3 nights a week and a full time job no wonder i never see him! Here is a pic of the wood and the paint job. I also got 2 nice plush rugs to go down which look very nice. On Saturday Scotts brother Nelson married his girlfriend, Michon and so we added one more girl to the all boy family. Total score including grandkids: boys 10 (including Michons little boy Alex) and girls 8. We are catching up!! They had an outdoor wedding that was actually dry! I know its hard to believe with the weather lately but it stopped raining about an hour before the ceremony and stayed dry all night long.

On Sunday Lilah started with a fever and got very fussy and was even eating less, which if you have seen my child she loves to eat and it shows, so that was strange! Today she was squealing and screaming all day so i decided to take her to the dr. She yet again has hand foot and mouth disease. She doesn't really have the rash on her hands and feet yet but i guess she has lots of blisters in her mouth and throat :( So you know what that means... more meds. As if she isn't on enough already. I'm having to give her Tylenol for her fever which has been about 101 and a mixture of benedryl and mylanta for her mouth/throat sores. Poor girl. She just cant catch a break! And the total count from last week on her not breathing episodes topped out at 7! It was such a rough week and its not any easier this week. But i spoke with her dr and her pulmonologist and they want to keep her on all her meds and just see how things go. So please cross your fingers that this week is better!

Here she is all dolled up a few weeks ago. She loves to get all dressed up with bows and such. She is such a girly girl already!

And to finish things out she is trying to crawl! She is rolling over now and again, loves to "stand" and "sit" (i help out a lot with both) But lately when she is on her tummy she brings her knees under her and trys to crawl forward. What a smart girl! and on a side note, don't mind the bald spot on the side of her head. That's her "flat" spot. It has improved to an 8mm difference from her right to left side though so its reshaping nicely and because she is doing so well in therapy we go every other week now. I hope her hair grows back quick! It sticks out like a sore thumb! lol!
