*Scotts Labor Day Accident*

For Labor Day Scott went out to the sand dunes with Jeff, Dusty and Jeremy. I thought it would be way to hot and didnt sound like a ton of fun so I stayed home and went shopping with my mom :) They left on Saturday, even though the weather was supposed to be bad on Sunday. Saturday night there were very high winds and it continued into Sunday so they ended up coming home a day early. But it wasnt completely uneventful and like Scotts Easter trip to Moab, ended with him taking a trip to the medic. They were riding and reached a crest of one of the hills when the front tire of Scotts bike lifted off the ground and instead of tipping over backwards he opted to lay it on its side. But as he layed it down it fell on top of him and ended up giving his right thigh a 2nd degree burn that is about 12 in in length and about 6 in wide. They took him to the medic who cleaned out all of the sand and put a temporary wrap on it. And of course I didnt find any of this out until they got home! I rebandaged it and it is looking a lot better already. What a year this has been with Scott and injuries!!!
