*First Anniversary*

Our first anniversary was on September 8 (i cant believe its been a whole year!!) and Scott decided to surprise me and plan a little getaway to The Johnson Mill Bed and Breakfast in Midway. Our room was overlooking a waterfall and was right on the Provo river. It had a great view! We left on Sunday and came home today. It was so nice to get away for a few days! The inn was very nice and reminded me of something out of a movie (maybe a horror movie lol!!). Since it was a bed and breakfast it was just a big house with a few different rooms to stay in and then every morning everyone would have breakfast together at a dinning room table. That part was definitely different to say the least! First of all you are trying to wake up and you are at a table with a bunch of strangers. It was a lot of fun though! While we were there we decided to take the paddle boat that they had out on the pond and was that an experience!

We walked out to the gazebo and looked at the paddle boat and canoe that were sitting there and decided to go out in the paddle boat since it looked the safest, and had less spiders in it! We got in and paddled backwards to get away from the gazebo but when we started to go forward Scott was trying to steer and it was only going in circles!! The steering was broken! There were no paddles in the boat and we were stuck on the pond! We were laughing so hard since there was nothing else to do. We managed to turn it around and after some time paddled it backwards towards the gazebo and Scott got it tied back up. I immediately wanted off! The funniest part was another couple was telling us how they got stuck as well the following day, I wish I could have seen that!! lol It was a great trip!

We have been through so much in the short time we have been married and I feel very lucky to be where we are in our lives. We got the house into both of our names, bought my Landcruiser, completely remodeled two bathrooms and the backyard, went through fertility testing and fertility meds and finally conceived our precious little girl. What a year this has been!! I cant wait to celebrate many more anniversary's :)
